Severe storms, dangerous heat hit Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay on Friday

The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for Miami-Dade County on Friday, July 17, with heat index values between 105 and 110 degrees, while severe thunderstorms with damaging winds, hail, and intense lightning are forecast between 1 and 7 p.m. for Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay.
